Seeing so many amazing pictures over at Pixiv and Squiby made with Photoshop, I got eager to try and learn how to make it myself without actually using pens or pencils.
Many artists have tablets that come really handy whenever they wanna draw, but as for unlucky and unexperienced person as me, tablets are far too expensive to buy and simply too hard to use.
I've tried using a tablet laptop my brother bought once, and well; it turned somewhat crappy and just plain weird xD Maybe I need to learn more to draw on tablets..
But nevermind that now. This time, I actually tried using a mouse to draw that random chibi girl over thar 8D ->
With a help of the pen tool, I finally managed to finish drawing her after several times re-arranging the shape and size of the vector masks. The outer lines still look a bit stiff in some parts, and the shape of the hair is really not proportional, but I kinda like how my drawings finally didn't look sketchy at all ;D
The original file in my folder has a higher saturation than the one I uploaded here though. For some reason, the saturation decreases after I saved the picture, no matter what I do to the settings :o As a result, the one up there appears like having more to a brown hair, while the original one actually has a more blatant orange haircolor.
Even though I'm experiencing so many difficulties just to draw that single chibi, I'm having so much fun coloring it <3 And now when I look at the pic, she kinda looks like Hermione.. o.o Oh well.
Anyways, lookie! Another pic, again made with a help of the ancient pen tool.

It's a little plain, and the shadow is somewhat smuggish...
Thinking to make this as a Squidoptable too, but nm. I cancelled it :p
And also an extra treat :

This was supposed to be a bunny, but now it looks more like a puppy of some sort xD

Lineart provided by Uke_Sora. How many times I've mentioned her name again?
Recolored by me, and resulting in this sweet Chocolate Apdragon!
I made it unlisted. In case you want to adopt it...
Where do you usually go to buy chocolates?
:D
