- "I thought you had lost it." She trembled, her lips forcing a genuine but sad smile. "Your will to get back here. Your hope to stay here. Your promise to be here - with me."
"I'd never," He inched closer as he stared at her apologetically. But she backed away.
"If I have to lose you, again - No, I'd rather go with you; just to make sure you're safe."
"..don't worry," To her surprise, his expression changed and he turned away, backing her. He said in a playful note,
"As long as I come back, you don't have to lose me."
"As long as you come back.." She repeated, her voice shivering. Yet another promise she afraid he won't fulfill. But this time she knew better than to hold him back.
"..as long as you come back."
