Another adoptable sites I'm starting to get addicted to;
Chicken Smoothie.
It's a little different from Squiby, though the main concept is basically the same; a virtual adopting site where you can collect various creatures and show them off.
But this one doesn't require you to click and level them up. All you need to do is just go register, adopt some pets, and let them grow by themselves.
No playing with them, no feeding, no daily-clicking; just simply wait for them to reach their next stage. -though you can dress up your pets using various accessories obtained from various occasions too-
Sounds a bit boring, but there are lots of features offered on the site that at least will keep you on the run and visit the site everyday.
A species will only be available for a certain amount of time in a month and sometimes even a week, so each pet has their own uniqueness and rareness. One species could have several different outcomes, so it's not always the same dog whenever you adopt one type of puppy from the adoption center and grow them up.
There are also another species other than those typical dogs and cats, such as horses, spiders, rats, hamsters; even dragons ;o
You'll be having alot of difficulty when you want to collect every single of them, since maybe you've missed some of the old and rare adoptables that are already retired now, but by using the 'Trade' feature they offered on the site, you can trade your pets with others and get those dream pets of yours. The 'Wishlist' feature is there too to make it easier for you and the others to keep track of what pets you wanted to collect.
Also, there is a forum on the site where you can get pets for free from other users; the 'Pound', where you can freely take any pets they listed for a certain amount of time ( one per day though ); the 'Store', where you can use your Chicken Dollars and buy pets and accessories;
things like that should help you get what you want pretty fast ;)
Even though it doesn't let the members make their own adoptables, they can try to apply as one of the pet designers there, which will let them have the ability to recolor pets, and create new linearts ..if I'm correct about this.
Anyhows, I pretty much like this site :) It's a very user-friendly site, and the community is very welcoming. It's really different from Squiby.
